Double Stitched Medium Weight Rein

These reins are a medium weight rein cut 1/2” or 5/8” wide and 7’9” in length which is just right for the average size horse. These double & stitched medium weight reins are one of the most popular reins we carry. Two pieces of medium weight leather are tightly stitched together making the reins 9/32nd of an inch thick. The reins are edged by hand, rubbed, oiled and rubbed again. This process gives them a good feel and body. These reins are more flexible than a harness leather rein and will hold their share and flexibility even in the coldest weather. These reins are built to last.
